Who is eligible to enter?
Any manufacturer of products in the categories kitchen furniture and equipment, large electrical appliances, small electrical appliances, cooking and kitchen utensils and kitchen accessories.

Application procedure and deadline
Each participant is entitled to enter one or more products, which must be submitted in fully functional condition. In exceptional cases, it is sufficient to send in a detailed description of the product accompanied by illustrative visual material to:

Closing date for entries: 20. 10. 2009

Conditions of entry:
Entry and submission of products is free of charge.
A nomination fee of € 3,000.– per product is payable only on nomination of the submitted products by the jury.
In return, the manufacturer receives a certificate with the words "Nominated for Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2009 Award" for each nominated product.

Rights of use for award titles:
The award winners receive, in return for a one-off fee of € 5,000.– per product, the right to use the awarded “Kitchen Innovation of the Year” titles without restriction and for an unlimited period for sales, advertising and other purposes.

Special award “Responsible Company”:
Entry is open to all companies in the kitchen & tableware sector.
Application is free of charge.
A detailed description of the project for evaluation must be submitted.
Winners of the award will be granted the right, in return for a one-off fee of
€ 2,000.–, to use the awarded title without restriction and for an unlimited period for sales, advertising and other purposes.
