The "KitchenInnovation of the Year^®" was presented for the 6th time in 2012.

The award "KitchenInnovation of the Year^®2012" were presented by Dr. Herbert Huber (state secretary, retired), Harald Schultes (president of the Initiative LifeCare), Baroness Beatrix von Lerchenfeld (member of jury), Susanne Nick (Project Leader) and Peter Walter (former managing director beta Institut GmbH).

Maryse Mappes, K&A BrandResearch, reported on the highlights of the poll in which consumers could select the most popular products.

After the official ceremony, all winners celebrated their success together with the initiators, the jury and guests and enjoyed the three course menu prepared by Michael Berling and Heiko Sian.
